Familiar Faces

If you have visited our practice several times, there is one thing that catches most people’s eye. It is the fact that you will always see a familiar face. At a time when Americans are quitting or changing their jobs at a historic rate, we remain relatively unchanged. Yes, we moved our practice in 2020, upgraded our facility and added a ton of new technology and equipment. But you can always count on a familiar face and voice on the phone and at your appointments.

This is not to say that we haven’t added some new faces too! We have been very fortunate to have become quite popular in the West Chester area and that has necessitated the hiring of several new team members to keep pace with our growth. In fact, we outpaced most businesses in the percentage of new hires since the start of the pandemic!

But for every new face in our office, there are three or four that you have known for decades (and that is not an exaggeration!). Every few months, we seem to celebrate a milestone anniversary within our team. Last year, we toasted Ann’s 40th anniversary! She has been running our Continuing Care program to make sure that you don’t get too far behind on your cleaning appointments. This year, Wendy will celebrate her 30th year with the practice! Many of you have been treated by Wendy’s hygiene expertise since the early 1990s when she arrived at our practice thanks to one of Dr. Don’Schubert's early business partners.

If you have worked with Wendy then you certainly have worked with our most tenured dental hygiene assistant, Corinne. Also this coming summer, we will honor Corinne for her 20th Anniversary with the practice. Over half a century of experience at your cleaning and examination visits is hard to beat!

My point in saying all of this is very simple. High team member turnover rates will tell you something about any business or medical practice. It can give you a glimpse into what is going on behind the scenes and the culture of that office. Low turnover rates speak volumes as well. We are very proud of what we have assembled here at Chester County Family Dentistry. If you are reading this as a prospective patient, I encourage you to check out our thousands of reviews and see if we are what you are looking for. Our practice is not for everyone. We are an out-of-network provider so your dental insurance will not likely cover all of the expenses that you may incur on your visits. We will certainly work with your insurance company to get you the most out of those benefits. Our fees are not excessive, but they are commensurate with the level of service and care that we guarantee you will receive. I encourage you to give us a try and let us show you why you will want to stay with us for a few decades as well!
